Job Description: A Dispatch/Depot Incharge manages warehouse, inventory, and transportation operations to ensure timely, accurate delivery of goods. Key duties include scheduling shipments, supervising staff, optimizing logistics, maintaining documentation (invoices, E-way bills), and resolving delivery discrepancies. This role requires 2–10+ years of experience. Key Responsibilities

- Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate daily dispatch operations, including route planning, vehicle loading, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers or distribution centers.
- Inventory & Warehouse Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee packing accuracy, and manage goods coming in and out of the depot.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, such as invoices, delivery notes, and shipping labels.
- Team Leadership: Supervise depot staff and drivers, ensuring safety compliance and performance targets are met.




- Compliance: Ensure transportation complies with legal requirements and safety regulations.
- Problem Resolution: Handle issues related to damaged goods, delivery delays, or route changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: Generally 2–10+ years in logistics, supply chain, or dispatch roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and specialized dispatch/warehouse management software.
- Soft Skills: Solid organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of transportation regulations, route optimization, and inventory control.
