We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to optimize production processes in our emerald jewelry manufacturing unit. The role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring high-quality standards in gemstone handling and jewelry production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement
- Implement time and motion studies to enhance productivity
- Optimize workflow in cutting, polishing, setting, and finishing processes
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor production KPIs such as efficiency, utilization, and rejection rates
- Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to streamline operations
- Reduce material wastage, especially in emerald handling and processing
- Assist in layout planning for better space and resource utilization
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S)
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
