Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Junior Accountant . The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements within a real estate development workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Record and maintain daily financial transactions using Tally Prime and accounting systems
- Manage accounts payable and receivable , including invoicing and payment tracking
- Handle petty cash management and site-level expense monitoring
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Process purchase bills, vendor invoices, and financial entries
- Assist in GST return filing and compliance
- Support TDS calculations and statutory compliance
- Maintain proper documentation, data, filings, and audit-ready records




- Assist in preparation of financial statements and internal reports
- Support internal audits, budgeting, and financial planning activities
- Coordinate with internal teams and site staff for financial data
- Provide administrative and accounting support as required

Qualifications

- Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and handling financial transactions.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and bank reconciliation.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as Tally Prime.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and data accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills for meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in accounts payable, receivable, invoices, GST filings and bank reconciliation
- Knowledge of tax compliance, project finance and financial regulations is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Job Details

Location: Near Borivali West Station

Working Hours: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday) (1 hour lunch break)

Compensation: Depends on Experience

Annual Casual and Sick Leave: 12 days (no carry-forward)

Additional Public Holidays: 7 days (no carry-forward)
