JOB DESCRIPTION ACCOUNTANT

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Salary: 25,00035,000 per month

We work with leading automation brands and provide products and solutions to dealers, system integrators, businesses and end customers across India.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant who can independently manage day-to-day accounting, taxation, reconciliations, invoicing and financial records. The candidate should have practical experience with Zoho Books, GST, TDS and MS Excel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts in Zoho Books

Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries

Generate tax invoices, proforma invoices, credit notes and debit notes

Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns

Perform monthly GSTR-2B and Input Tax Credit reconciliation

Calculate TDS, make challan payments and prepare quarterly TDS returns

Generate e-invoices, e-way bills and delivery challans

Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations

Reconcile customer, vendor and general ledger accounts

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable





Monitor outstanding payments and prepare debtor ageing reports

Coordinate with customers and vendors regarding payment discrepancies

Reconcile online sales, payment gateways, returns and refunds

Maintain inventory-related accounting records

Process employee reimbursements, petty cash and office expenses

Assist with payroll, Professional Tax, PF and ESIC compliance

Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements, cash-flow reports and MIS reports

Assist in month-end and year-end account closing

Maintain proper supporting documents and audit-ready financial records

Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for audits, taxation and account finalisation

Ensure all accounting and statutory deadlines are met without penalties

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance or another relevant accounting qualification

Minimum 3 years of practical accounting experience

Strong hands-on knowledge of Zoho Books

Good knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian accounting practices

Experience in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciliation

Experience with bank, customer and vendor reconciliations

Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and SUMIFS

Ability to independently manage daily accounting activities

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication, documentation and follow-up skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE





Previous experience working with a Chartered Accountant firm

Experience in e-commerce, distribution, trading or inventory-based businesses

Experience with payment-gateway reconciliation

Knowledge of import purchases and landed-cost accounting

Experience with payroll and statutory compliance
