Job Summary

The Plantation Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining plantation and landscaping activities at project sites. The role includes supervising plantation work, ensuring plant health, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute plantation and landscaping activities as per project requirements.
- Select suitable plant species based on site conditions and project specifications.
- Supervise plantation workers, gardeners, and contractors.
- Monitor soil preparation, planting, irrigation, fertilization, and pruning activities.
- Ensure proper maintenance and survival of plants, trees, shrubs, and lawns.
- Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of plants, fertilizers, pesticides, and gardening materials.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify plant diseases, pests, and maintenance issues.
- Maintain daily work reports, plantation records, and inventory of landscaping materials.




- Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards.
- Work closely with project teams to complete plantation work within the project timeline.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, Landscape Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in plantation, landscaping, or horticulture projects is preferred.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of horticulture and landscape maintenance.
- Understanding of irrigation systems and soil management.
- Team supervision and contractor management.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Positive communication and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Preferred Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in plantation, landscaping, or horticulture projects.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or township projects is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
