About us

Halisi Safari Solutions is the parent company behind two Tanzania based travel brands. Ascend Tanzania has been running Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru treks since 2011. Marvels of Africa is our luxury safari arm, running private itineraries across the northern circuit. Operations sit in Moshi. Marketing, creative and hiring sit in Bangalore.

We sell adventure and luxury travel to an international audience. The visual output has to earn the price point.

The role

You will own the visual output for both brands. Video, graphics, itineraries, ad creative, social posts, everything client facing and internal. You will work directly with the Marketing Head and the founder, taking raw footage from guides on the mountain and safari operators in the bush and turning it into content that converts.

What you will do

Video

- Cut short form video for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts covering trek routes, safari sightings, client testimonials and behind the scenes
- Edit longer form pieces for YouTube and the website: route walkthroughs, itinerary showcases, guide interviews
- Handle colour grading, sound design, subtitles and platform export presets
- Manage a growing library of raw footage from the field

Graphic design

- Design branded itineraries, quotes, invoices, booking vouchers and other client facing documents
- Create social assets, ad creative for Google and Meta, blog headers and email graphics
- Produce print collateral: brochures,



business cards, event materials
- Maintain and extend the brand system across both Ascend Tanzania and Marvels of Africa

What we are looking for

- Some one who is a fresher that can bring in new ideas and perspectives.
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Fast paced social edits, polished long form video and print quality design work
- Comfort working with founders and small teams where you own the creative end to end
- Strong written and spoken English; comfortable communicating across time zones
- Sharp eye for brand consistency, typography and layout

Nice to have

- Motion graphics and 2D animation
- Photography and photo retouching
- Experience with drone footage
- Working knowledge of Figma
- Prior work in the travel or adventure category

Compensation and setup

- Full time, in office role at our Bangalore office
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Direct exposure to the founder and to an international travel business being built from the ground up

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
