Job Summary

The Virtual CFO (vCFO) will act as a strategic financial partner to multiple clients, providing financial leadership, accounting oversight, internal audit support, compliance management, and business advisory services. The role requires strong application of mind, decision-making ability, and hands-on expertise in accounting, internal audit, MIS, and strategic finance.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Advisory

· Act as strategic finance advisor to client management and promoters

· Provide financial insights for business growth, cost optimization, and profitability improvement

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

· Assist clients in decision-making using financial analysis and MIS

Accounting & Financial Control

· Oversee end-to-end accounting functions and review books of accounts

· Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

· Guide accounting teams on correct accounting treatment and standards

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices

Internal Audit & Process Review

· Plan and conduct internal audits for client organizations

· Review internal controls, SOPs, and risk management processes

· Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and compliance risks





· Prepare internal audit reports with actionable recommendations

MIS & Reporting

· Design and review MIS dashboards and management reports

· Ensure timely and accurate financial and operational reporting

· Use advanced Excel for analysis, reconciliations, and trend tracking

· Present financial reports to promoters and senior management

Compliance & Statutory Support

· Oversee GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory compliances

· Coordinate with tax, audit, and legal teams for filings and assessments

· Support statutory and internal audits with documentation and explanations

Client Management

· Manage multiple client relationships simultaneously

· Act as primary finance contact for assigned clients

· Attend client meetings and explain financial performance and risks

· Ensure timely closure of client queries and deliverables

Qualifications & Experience

· Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA Finance preferred

· 7–15 years of experience in finance, consulting, accounting, or audit

· Strong exposure to accounting, internal audit, and financial advisory

· Experience in consultancy or qualified services firm preferred

Skills & Competencies

· Strong application of mind and analytical thinking

· Expert proficiency in Excel and financial analysis

· Sound knowledge of accounting, internal audit, and compliance

· Decision-making and problem-solving ability

· Client communication and presentation skills

· Ability to work independently and handle multiple clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
