Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s or PhD in a relevant discipline will be a weighted advantage.
Experience:
4–8 years in R&D; of Metalworking fluids or Industrial Lubricants
Job Responsibility
- Develop semi-synthetic, synthetic, and soluble MWFs for machining, grinding, cutting, forming, and stamping.
- Plan and execute lab evaluations (emulsion stability, corrosion, foam, pH, RA, hard water compatibility).
- Enhance performance, consistency, and sump life of existing products.
- Scale up formulations from lab to pilot and commercial batches.
- Support trials, troubleshoot issues (foam, corrosion, instability, odor, staining).
- Prepare TDS, MSDS, SOPs, BOMs, and trial reports
- Lead and mentor junior chemists and technicians.
