Head Baker

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head Baker to lead the daily operations of a premium artisanal bakery. This role is ideal for someone passionate about craftsmanship, quality, and team leadership, with strong expertise in breads, viennoiserie, and large-scale production.

You'll oversee the complete bakery operation, ensuring exceptional product quality, efficient production planning, and smooth day-to-day execution while mentoring and developing a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end bakery production, from dough preparation and fermentation to baking, finishing, and dispatch.
- Ensure consistency in quality, flavour, texture, presentation, and product standards.
- Plan and manage daily production schedules based on business demand.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and operational SOPs.
- Train, mentor, and lead the bakery team to deliver operational excellence.
- Manage inventory, raw material planning, and minimize wastage.
- Oversee maintenance and optimal use of bakery equipment.




- Continuously improve production processes, efficiency, and team performance.

Requirements:

- 5 to 10 years of experience in an artisanal or premium bakery environment.
- Previous experience leading bakery teams.
- Strong knowledge of breads, sourdough, laminated pastries, and viennoiserie.
- Excellent production planning and inventory management skills.
- Ability to maintain quality in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
