Director General (Academics)

Reporting To: Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic academic leadership across all institutions of IIMT Group of Colleges, Greater Noida.
- Supervise and guide the Directors/Deans/Principals of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Polytechnic, and Science & Technology.
- Develop and implement academic policies, quality standards, and institutional best practices.
- Ensure compliance with AICTE, UGC, PCI, BCI, State Board, affiliating university, NBA, NAAC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Drive academic excellence through outcome-based education, curriculum enhancement, research, innovation, accreditation, and faculty development.
- Monitor academic performance, student outcomes, admissions, placements, rankings, and institutional growth.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration, industry partnerships, international collaborations, and research initiatives across all campuses.
- Review academic audits, departmental performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring continuous improvement.
- Advise the Management on academic planning, current programs, strategic initiatives, and institutional expansion.
- Represent the institution in academic, regulatory, government, and industry forums.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with Professor-level experience as per AICTE/UGC norms.
- Minimum 15–20 years of experience in higher education, including senior academic leadership (Director/Dean/Principal or equivalent).
- Proven expertise in academic administration, accreditation (NBA/NAAC), research, institutional development, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
