What You Will Be Doing
Perform month-end closing processes and ensuring compliance with local and group reporting requirements.
Perform variance, cost, profit and trending analysis.
Perform reconciliations for bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts.
Handles direct and indirect tax filing and return submission in accordance with the local law and statutes.
Ensure internal and external financial and tax reporting compliance requirements and timelines are met.
Support statutory audit, tax and local transfer pricing reporting, ensuring statutory compliance are adhered and complete timely.
Provide support to projects where expertise is required; support queries and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
Identify and implement improvement prospects.
Other ad hoc requests and supports as required.

A Successful Candidate Is Likely To Have
Degree in accountancy with at least 5 years accounting and tax experience.
Positive technical knowledge of India accounting practices, financial reporting, and tax legislation compliance.
Experience in intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
Experience in SAP system, a shared service center environment or an MNC will be an added advantage.
Meticulous, able to multi-task and delivery results within tight deadlines.
Good analytical and problems solving skills.
A responsible team player with good communication, follow-up and inter-personal skills.
Self-driven, able to work independently and welcome new challenges.
