Position Overview

VBC Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support overall financial health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in the construction or related industries.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, ledgers, and journals.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Oversee tax filings, GST compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
Process payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor cash flow and manage banking transactions.
Collaborate with project managers to track project expenses and profitability.
Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to policies.




Provide insights and reports to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in accounting (experience in the construction industry is a plus).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office, especially Excel.
Robust understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations in India.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
