We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounts Intern to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate looking to build a strong foundation in core accounting operations. You will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, managing invoices and bills, and maintaining accurate financial records using Zoho Books.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Bookkeeping: Assist in maintaining accurate day-to-day books of accounts in Zoho Books.
Invoice & Bill Processing: Record incoming vendor bills, prepare outgoing client invoices, and track payment statuses.
Data Entry & Organization: Ensure exact entry of all financial transactions, receipts, and vouchers.
Reconciliation Support: Assist the senior accounting team with routine bank and account reconciliations.
Document Management: Maintain orderly physical and digital files for invoices, receipts, tax documents, and financial records.
Compliance & Support: Help prepare basic financial summaries,
schedules, and reports as required by the finance team.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent).
Software Knowledge: Hands-on experience or familiarity with Zoho Books (academic projects, coursework, or self-learning).
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of double-entry accounting principles, invoicing, billing, and proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
Attention to Detail: Solid eye for detail and high precision when handling numbers and financial data.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
Experience Level: Fresher (0–1 years of experience).
