Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships and understanding their business goals and industry landscape.
Develop comprehensive PR strategies and plans that align with clients’ objectives, incorporating media relations, content creation, social media, and events.
Lead and oversee the execution of PR campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Manage and mentor a team of PR specialists, fostering a collaborative work environment and conducting performance reviews to support professional growth.
Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers, overseeing the creation and distribution of press releases and securing media coverage.
Provide strategic guidance during PR crises, developing and implementing crisis communication plans as needed.
Develop and manage budgets for PR campaigns, ensuring financial parameters are met and optimizing resources for maximum ROI.
Identify and pursue opportunities for recent business, preparing and delivering pitches and proposals to contribute to agency growth.
Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns, using insights to refine strategies and improve results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Postgraduate qualification in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
7–10 years of experience in Public Relations, preferably in an agency environment.
Proven track record of securing media coverage in top-tier publications and trade media.
Solid network of media contacts and a sound understanding of the PR landscape.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and content.
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with PR tools and platforms will be an added advantage.
