Role Description This is a full-time, in office Accounts Officer role based in Vidisha.

The Accounts

Officer will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, preparing and updating ledgers, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, monitoring cash and bank balances, processing invoices and payments, and supporting vendor and customer account management.



The role also involves coordinating with store and regional teams, ensuring timely reporting, supporting internal and external audits, and adhering to company policies and statutory requirements.

The Accounts

Officer will contribute to accurate financial documentation, maintain records, and provide support for operational and management reporting.

Qualifications Strong knowledge of Finance and the ability to work with Financial Statements.

Well-developed Analytical Skills to review data, identify discrepancies, and support decision-making.

Customer Service orientation to handle internal and external stakeholder queries professionally.

Explicit and effective Communication skills for coordination with store teams, vendors, and management.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.

Understanding of basic taxation and statutory compliance relevant to retail operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.

Ability to work accurately under time constraints, maintain confidentiality, and follow standardized processes.
