We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting, along with hands-on experience in Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting software. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Record and reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
Handle GST calculations, filing, and compliance.
Prepare TDS returns and ensure timely statutory deductions.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations.
Generate financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
Manage payroll-related accounting entries.
Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits.
Maintain vendor and customer ledgers.
Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation of financial records.
Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and vendor payments.
Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
3–4 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Hands-on experience with Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting software.
Valuable understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.).
Robust knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience in handling payroll accounting.
Familiarity with audit processes and compliance requirements.
