Role Description The Application Analyst role is a full-time, in office position based in Edapally at Amrita Hospital, Kochi.

The Application

Analyst will manage, configure, and support hospital information systems and clinical applications to ensure reliable and secure operations.

Responsibilities include analyzing user requirements, translating workflows into system configurations, and coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to optimize application usage. The role involves diagnosing and resolving application issues, working with IT and vendor teams on upgrades or integrations, and documenting system changes and user guides.





The Application

Analyst will also participate in testing new features, training end users, monitoring performance, and contributing to continuous improvement of digital processes in the hospital workplace.

Qualifications

Strong Analytical Skills to interpret user needs, process data, and support decision-making.

Proficiency in Systems Analysis and Information Technology to understand application architectures and healthcare workflows.

Experience in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to identify, diagnose, and resolve application and user issues.

Ability to collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT stakeholders, with clear written and verbal communication.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; healthcare IT experience is an advantage.

Familiarity with hospital information systems, EHR/EMR platforms, or other clinical applications, and basic understanding of data security and compliance.

Capacity to work on-site in a rapid-paced hospital environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving technologies.
