Role Description The Assistant Video Editor role is a full-time, in office position based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area.

The Assistant Video

Editor will support the post-production process by organizing footage, assembling rough cuts, and refining edits in alignment with creative direction and brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include trimming and sequencing clips, syncing audio, applying basic transitions, and preparing project files for senior editors. The role may also involve assisting with color adjustments, simple motion graphics,



and exporting final deliverables in required formats while maintaining consistent quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

Strong foundational skills in video production and understanding of the end-to-end video workflow.

Proficiency in video editing tools and techniques, including assembling timelines and refining narrative flow.

Basic to intermediate experience in video color grading and visual enhancement for polished outputs.

Ability to create or adapt motion graphics and graphics elements that support visual storytelling.

Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar).

Attention to detail, robust organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with directors, editors, and production teams.

Relevant coursework, certification, or degree in film, media, animation, or a related field is an advantage.
