Role Overview:
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our salem team, with a strong focus on residential projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about space planning, material selection, and translating client requirements into functional, aesthetically refined designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and 3D visualizations for residential projects
Create detailed working drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD
Build accurate 3D models and walkthroughs using SketchUp
Coordinate with site engineers and production teams to ensure design feasibility and accurate execution
Prepare material, finish,
and furniture specifications in line with budget and client preferences
Stay updated on residential design trends, materials, and industry standards
Present design concepts and revisions to clients in a explicit, professional manner
Conduct site visits as needed to ensure design intent is maintained during execution
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD is mandatory
Sound understanding of interior design industry standards, codes, and best practices
Strong portfolio demonstrating residential design work
Good communication and client-facing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Knowledge of rendering software (V-Ray, Enscape, or similar) is a plus
