Key Responsibilities
Operation & Maintenance of Utility Systems
Operate and maintain the following utility equipment:
Boiler
Chiller Plant (Water & Brine)
Air Dryers
Air Compressors (Screw Type & Reciprocating Type)
Nitrogen Plant
Cooling Towers
DM (Demineralization) Plant
Water Softener Systems
AHU (Air Handling Units)
RO (Reverse Osmosis) Plant
Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all utility equipment.
Attend breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime through quick troubleshooting.
Maintain maintenance records and logs.
Utility
Monitoring & Optimization
Monitor utility consumption (water, air, steam, power) and optimize usage.
Ensure systems are operating efficiently and within set parameters.
Identify opportunities for energy saving and cost reduction.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
Follow SOPs for equipment handling and maintenance.
Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records of operations, maintenance, and inspections.
Prepare reports on equipment performance and utility consumption.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Solid knowledge of utility systems and equipment.
Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Troubleshooting skills for mechanical systems.
Basic knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
Familiarity with safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
4–6 years of experience in plant utilities preferred.
