Role & responsibilities
Lead the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems.
Manage PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, VFD, and industrial communication networks.
Develop and execute automation strategies to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Lead electrical and automation projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
Troubleshoot complex electrical and automation issues to minimize production downtime.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
Prepare electrical drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, procurement, and external vendors.
Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for electrical and automation equipment.
Mentor, train, and evaluate automation engineers and maintenance personnel.




Identify prospects for energy savings and process optimization.
Support digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives where applicable.
Maintain backup programs for PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial servers.

Technical Skills
PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Omron, or ABB)
HMI and SCADA development
DCS systems
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
Servo systems and motion control
Industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, CAN, OPC UA)
Electrical panel design and power distribution
AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
Industrial instrumentation and control systems
Electrical safety standards and troubleshooting
Energy management systems
Industrial IoT and smart manufacturing concepts
