Role & responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day production activities and ensure adherence to the production plan.
Monitor machine performance and optimize production efficiency.
Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum downtime and wastage.
Maintain compliance with SOPs, GMP, safety, and company policies.
Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure products meet quality specifications.
Monitor raw material consumption and minimize process losses.
Prepare daily production reports, shift reports, and MIS reports.
Coordinate with the Maintenance department for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Identify process improvement prospects to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Train, guide,



and monitor production operators and shift staff.
Ensure proper documentation of production records and batch records.
Implement and monitor 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance.
Maintain discipline, housekeeping, and workplace safety on the shop

Preferred candidate profile 3+ Years experience in Pharma manufacturing, API Manufacturing, Excipient manufacturing.
