Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits of retail stores, warehouses, and corporate departments.
Verify stock, cash, gold, silver, diamond, and other inventory records.
Perform surprise audits and physical inventory verification.
Review sales, purchase, billing, and inventory transactions for accuracy.
Identify operational gaps, financial discrepancies, and compliance issues.
Ensure adherence to company SOPs, internal controls, and statutory regulations.
Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
Follow up on audit observations and monitor corrective actions.
Coordinate with Accounts, Operations, Warehouse, and Store teams for audit-related activities.
Support management in process improvement initiatives and risk assessment.

Preferred candidate profile

Eligibility
Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.



M.Com/MBA (Finance) preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Retail Audit, or Inventory Audit.
Experience in the jewellery or retail industry will be preferred.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
Willingness to travel across store locations as per business requirements.
