Position Summary
We are seeking a highly self-driven individual with a ubiquitous skill set of technical capabilities complemented by excellent communication and critical thinking abilities. Lead advocacy and communications by developing reports, knowledge products, and visibility materials, while coordinating with ministries, donors, and skilled associations. By sustaining political momentum and stakeholder alignment, this role helps secure the visibility and cross-sectoral collaboration required for this project s remit.
Ensuring larger strategic alignment of key workstreams with national government and donor priorities.
Location
Recent Delhi, India (Please note that this is a seconded position and the candidate would be expected to be based out of the National Centre of Disease Control (NCDC), MoHFW).
Responsibilities
Development of strategic roadmaps and implementation guidelines to facilitate the transition process.
Provide strategic and analytical support to program work streams and identify high impact areas of intervention across the VPD surveillance process flow.
Lead the design and implementation of processes and systems for collection,
management and review of programmatic data and results to monitor progress and inform strategy against a developed monitoring and evaluation framework.
Co-ordinate and monitor implementation of programmatic activities, including but not limited to, working with, and engaging with multiple ministerial nodes, state government health leadership to plan activities, monitor implementation, and review progress.
Support curation of financial management plans for optimized allocation of resources to drive positive impact at scale.
Support problem identification on ground and facilitate the evidence-based development of creative tech-enabled solutions for adoption within existing public health systems.
Identify potential risks and challenges to the implementation and roll-out of activities and implement suitable mitigation mechanisms to address identified risks.
Build and maintain trust-based relationships with relevant government stakeholders, development partners, and other stakeholders.
Support development of compelling presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, such as progress narratives, update notes, donor deliverables etc.
Synthesize and document key learnings, and support dissemination to key stakeholders through reports, briefs, presentation decks
