Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Android WiFi Platform Engineer to develop, integrate, and debug WiFi functionality across Android platforms. The role spans Android architecture, AOSP, WiFi framework, HAL, supplicant, hostapd, Linux kernel, device drivers, and networking protocol analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, and debug Android WiFi software.

Support WiFi stack components across framework, HAL, supplicant, hostapd, and driver layers.

Troubleshoot connectivity, stability, driver, and performance issues.

Work with Linux kernel and device driver traces for root-cause analysis.

Analyze Android logs, kernel logs, driver-level traces, packet captures, and sniffer logs.

Support WiFi chipset bring-up and integration where required.

Collaborate with platform, connectivity, hardware, and system teams to resolve issues.

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory

Robust programming skills in C/C++.

Deep understanding of Android architecture and AOSP.





Experience with WiFi stack from framework to HAL, supplicant, and driver layers.

Experience with wpa_supplicant and hostapd.

Linux kernel and device driver knowledge.

Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and 802.11 protocols.

Hands-on debugging skills across Android logs, kernel logs, and driver-level traces.

Positive understanding of AIDL/HIDL interfaces.

Preferred Skills

Experience with WiFi chipset bring-up for Qualcomm, Broadcom, MediaTek, or similar platforms.

Experience with Android WiFi stack development or debugging.

Knowledge of packet analysis tools such as Wireshark and sniffer logs.

Android BSP development experience.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related disciplines.
