An AutoCAD Draftsman is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans used in engineering, construction, manufacturing, and architecture. Typical responsibilities include:
Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD software.
Convert hand sketches, design concepts, and engineering calculations into detailed CAD drawings.
Create and update floor plans, layouts, elevations, sections, and fabrication drawings.
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards.
Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, or project managers.
Maintain drawing records, revisions, and document control.
Coordinate with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
Perform quantity take-offs and assist with material estimation when required.
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and client specifications.
Organize and maintain CAD files, templates, and project documentation.




Support site teams by providing updated drawings and resolving drawing-related issues.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion.

Common Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architecture, or a related field.
1–5+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting (depending on the role).
AutoCAD certification is often preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
