Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement process including RFQ, quotation comparison, negotiation, and purchase order creation.
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, fabrication items, marine components, and services.
Coordinate with production, planning, and engineering teams for material requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery, and compliance.
Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and documentation for audits.
Track inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability.
Work closely with stores, logistics, and finance teams for smooth operations.
Prepare MIS reports on procurement status, cost savings, and vendor performance.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and industry standards.
