Role Description The Backend (Node.js) Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications and APIs. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient Node.js code, integrating databases and third-party services, optimizing application performance, and ensuring security and reliability of backend systems. The role involves collaborating closely with front-end developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to implement features,



troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing improvements.

This is a full time, in office role based in Mumbai, requiring regular coordination with cross-functional teams and adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess 8 + years of strong Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills, with hands-on experience in Node.js and related frameworks.

Candidates should possess solid JavaScript skills and a valuable understanding of up-to-date ES standards and asynchronous programming.

Candidates should possess foundational Front-End Development skills and familiarity with Redux.js to enable effective collaboration with front-end teams.

Relevant skills such as experience with RESTful APIs, database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), version control (Git), and basic knowledge of security best practices are beneficial.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, along with strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills, is preferred.
