Role Description This is a full-time, in office Biomedical Engineer role based in Surat.

The Biomedical

Engineer will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining medical and biomedical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Daily tasks include conducting preventive maintenance, performing equipment inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting clinical teams in the effective use of devices. The role involves documenting service activities, adhering to regulatory and safety standards, and collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders on equipment upgrades and repairs.

The Biomedical

Engineer will also participate in process improvements, contribute to equipment planning,



and support training related to proper use and care of medical equipment.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles in a healthcare or medical technology environment.

Candidates should possess skills in Medical Equipment handling, including installation, calibration, safety checks, and user support for a variety of devices.

Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills, including routine servicing, troubleshooting, and documentation of maintenance activities.

Relevant bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.

Understanding of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and quality management practices for medical devices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in technical work.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clinical staff, technicians, and external service providers.

Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical equipment service workplace is beneficial.
