Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
Set up and operate VMC machines for aerospace parts production.
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD/CAM data, and process sheets.
Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
Monitor machining processes to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Quality Assurance
Conduct first-off inspection and in-process checks using gauges, micrometers, and CMM.
Ensure adherence to aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP).
Document inspection results and maintain traceability records.
Maintenance & Safety
Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
Report machine malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance teams.
Follow strict safety protocols and 5S practices on the shop floor.
Continuous Improvement




Suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce cycle time.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors for tooling optimization.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/ITI in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
24 years of experience operating VMC machines in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
Robust knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc/Siemens).
Ability to read and interpret GD&T; and aerospace drawings.
Familiarity with aerospace materials (aluminum alloys, titanium, composites).
Basic knowledge of CAM software preferred.
