We are seeking a CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) Operator to convert 3D jewelry CAD designs into physical prototypes or production models using CAM/CNC machines.
Key Responsibilities
Convert CAD files (Rhino, Matrix, etc.) into CAM software and generate toolpaths.
Operate and monitor CAM/CNC machines such as DLP printers or wax milling machines.
Review 3D designs for manufacturability (thickness, shrinkage, structural integrity).
Perform quality checks on wax or metal models.
Troubleshoot machine/software issues and perform basic maintenance.
Optimize file nesting to reduce material waste.
Requirements
Experience in jewelry manufacturing with CAD/CAM or CNC machines.
Familiarity with CAM software (RhinoCAM, Mastercam, or similar).
Ability to read and interpret 3D models/technical drawings.
Solid attention to detail and teamwork skills.
