Role Descriptions:
Benchling Subject Matter Expert (SME) bridges the gap between RD science and software| translating complex research workflows into scalable| configured digital solutions.
They configure the platform| train users| and optimize data models to support digital transformation in life sciences.

Key Responsibilities:
Platform Configuration Tailor Benchling modules (Registry| Notebook| Workflows| and Inventory) to match specific research and animal study workflows.
Workflow Translation Gather business requirements from scientists and map them into user stories| process flows| and acceptance criteria.
System Integration Assist with API-driven integrations| data model definitions| and data migration.




Testing Adoption Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)| document system defects| and drive user adoption across the organization.
Subject Matter Expertise Serve as the primary point of contact for Benchling best practices| experimental data standards| and FAIR data principles.

Qualifications Requirements:
Education Degree in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology| Biochemistry| Biotechnology| or Biological Engineering).
Platform Knowledge Hands-on experience with Benchling Core| Registry| and specialized modules like Benchling In Vivo
Industry Experience Years of experience as a business analyst or implementation manager in Life Sciences RD.

Technical Skills:
Familiarity with API-driven integrations| scientific data standards| and software implementation SaaS settings.

Soft Skills:
Excellent stakeholder management| communication| and problem-solving abilities to bridge science and IT
