Job Description Senior Automation Engineer (Modernization Quality Engineering)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Automation Engineer to support the modernization of a legacy product into a cloud-native architecture using Go, React, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices . The role focuses on enabling quality through automation across UI, API, performance testing, and AI-assisted development practices.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and maintain automated test suites for React applications and Go-based microservices.
Automate API validation, contract testing, and service integration testing.
Build and execute performance and load testing strategies for distributed systems.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
Support validation of legacy functionality during modernization and migration efforts.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to establish quality engineering best practices.




Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development and testing activities.

Required Skills
Robust experience in Test Automation and Quality Engineering .
Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Go , Python , or JavaScript/TypeScript .
Experience with Playwright (preferred), Cypress , or Selenium .
Solid API testing experience using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI .
Hands-on experience with Load and Performance Testing tools such as JMeter or similar tools.
Experience with Docker , Kubernetes , and microservices architectures.
Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and database validation/testing.
Experience with GitHub Actions .
Proficiency with Git/GitHub .

AI Contemporary Engineering Tools
Experience using GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot , or similar AI-assisted engineering tools.
