Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and group career counselling sessions for students (Grades VIII–XII).
Conduct career interest and aptitude assessments.
Guide students in selecting subject combinations based on career goals.
Assist students with university admissions in India and abroad.
Organize career fairs, university interaction sessions, and career awareness workshops.
Maintain updated information on career opportunities, entrance examinations, scholarships, and higher education institutions.
Counsel parents regarding students' academic and career planning.
Collaborate with teachers to monitor students' academic progress and career readiness.
Maintain confidential student counselling records and prepare periodic reports.
Build relationships with universities, educational consultants, and industry specialists.
Qualification
Master's Degree in Psychology, Career Guidance, Counselling, or a related field.
Certification in Career Counselling is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Career Counsellor in a CBSE/ICSE/International School.
Experience in Indian and overseas university admissions is preferred.
Skills Required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Robust knowledge of career pathways, higher education systems, and entrance examinations.
Familiarity with psychometric assessment tools.
Ability to counsel students and parents effectively.
Strong organizational and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and student information systems.
Preferred Knowledge
NEP 2020 guidelines on career guidance.
Indian and international university admission processes (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Current Zealand, Europe, etc.).
Scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
