Job Description IST Switch or BASE24 Switch Developer
Experience: 3–12 Years
Location: As per business requirement

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and maintain IST Switch applications and payment transaction processing systems.
Work on card payment networks, ATM, POS, and electronic transaction processing.
Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions for switch-related enhancements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transaction processing, interfaces, and integrations.
Develop and support ISO 8583 message formats and payment switch protocols.
Coordinate with business, testing, and support teams for implementation and production support.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Support system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning activities.

Required Skills:
Robust experience in IST Switch or BASE24 Switch development




Positive understanding of payment systems, ATM/POS transactions, and card management systems.
Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging standards.
Experience with Java, C, C++, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, and SQL.
Understanding of interfaces, APIs, and transaction processing systems.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Experience in banking or financial services domain preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with payment gateways, card switches, or digital banking solutions.
Positive communication and stakeholder management skills.
