Business Development – Staffing Location – Kolkata Role Objective We are looking for a Business Development professional with proven ability in analytical Market Research and to acquire current client opportunities across key sectors like E-commerce, Retail, and Manufacturing etc.

Key Responsibilities New Business Acquisition Identify and acquire new clients for staffing services

Drive end-to-end sales cycle

Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline

Identify opportunities for vendor replacement/consolidation

P&L; Management

Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams for transition & onboarding Client Engagement Develop relationships with decision-makers (HR Heads, TA Heads, Procurement)

Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations

Position the company as a strategic staffing partner

Track competitor activity and identify client pain points

Build strategy for account penetration Market Research Conduct primary and secondary market research.

Collect, analyse,



and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.

Monitor industry trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities.

Identify new market opportunities and potential customer segments.

Maintain research databases and ensure data accuracy.

Requirements Experience · 1+ years (Executive level), Background in: Staffing / Workforce Solutions · 3+ years (Manager level), Background in: Staffing / Workforce Solutions Must-Have Skills Proven experience in cold calling, lead generation, and closures

Understanding of the staffing business model and compliance basics

Robust negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

Excellent research and data interpretation skills. Positive to Have Experience in HC transfer/vendor transition deals

Exposure to multi-location / enterprise clients /Existing industry connects
