Role Description The Business Development Intern role at Skillstango is an in office internship based in Jaipur. The intern will support lead generation efforts by identifying potential learners, partners, and institutional clients through online research, outreach, and networking. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research on ed-tech trends, competitor offerings, and learner needs, as well as maintaining and updating prospect databases.

The intern will engage in initial communication with prospective customers,



respond to inquiries, and provide basic customer support to ensure a positive experience. Additional responsibilities include assisting with presentations, preparing reports on business development activities, and collaborating with the marketing and operations teams to support growth initiatives.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to identify trends, opportunities, and target segments.

Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, handle inquiries, and support relationship building.

Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills and a basic understanding of sales or business development processes.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace, take initiative, and manage time efficiently.

Comfort with using digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM systems, online research platforms); familiarity with ed-tech or education sectors is a plus.

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred.
