Role & responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Business Planning

Drive overall commercial strategy for solar projects (utility-scale, rooftop, captive, or open access). Conduct financial modeling, profitability analysis, and business case development for recent prospects.

Support the business development and project execution teams with robust commercial structures.
Contract Management

Ensure alignment with legal, regulatory, and risk mitigation standards. Lead contract reviews and renegotiations to improve terms and ensure compliance.
Project Finance & Risk Management

Monitor project cash flows, payment schedules, and working capital cycles. Review progress of ongoing projects along with Project management team.

Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks in contracts and project delivery.
Stakeholder & Client Management

Build and maintain relationships with key customers, vendors, and government bodies. Act as a commercial point of contact in customer negotiations and conflict resolutions.

Ensure timely approvals and payment recoveries.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight





Ensuring Compliance with banking regulations international tax & compliances.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong analytical skills.

Expertise in contract structuring and legal aspects of commercial deals.

Strategic thinking with execution capability.

Effective stakeholder and team management.

Understanding of international compliances and structuring.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering, Finance, or Business.

Charter accountant or Techno-commercial.

MBA or PGDM in Finance/Marketing/Operations (preferred).

Additional certifications in renewable energy, project finance, or contract law are a plus.

General

Positive in MIS, statutory compliance and internal & external Audit.

Preferred Background

Experience in solar EPC including those of international projects.

Proven track record in managing high-value contracts and commercial operations.
