Role Description The Content Editor role at 1000 THINGS MEDIA is a full-time, on-site position based in Ludhiana.

The Content

Editor will review, edit, and refine written content for clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines across web and other channels. Daily tasks include managing content workflows, coordinating with writers and designers, conducting fact-checking and research, and ensuring timely publication of materials. The role also involves maintaining editorial standards, optimizing content for audience engagement, and providing constructive feedback to contributors.

Qualifications

Robust editorial and content management skills, including experience overseeing content calendars and publication processes.

Proficiency in writing and web content writing, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different formats and audiences.

Demonstrated research skills, including fact-checking and sourcing reliable information to support content accuracy.

Excellent command of English grammar, style, and punctuation, with meticulous attention to detail.

Familiarity with content management systems and basic SEO principles is beneficial.

Prior experience in media, publishing, or a related content-focused workplace preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
