Position

Summary

We are hiring a Data Engineer (3 openings) on behalf of our client, a fast-growing global Data & Analytics consulting firm, for their Hyderabad office. This is an onsite role for immediate joiners. In this role, you will design, build, and manage contemporary data solutions using Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow — owning data pipeline architecture end-to-end while mentoring a team of engineers and partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders.

Lead the design and development of data pipelines and data models using Snowflake and DBT

Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Apache Airflow for productive, reliable data processing

Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications





Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to ensure ongoing data integrity, quality, and reliability

Mentor and guide junior data engineers, supporting their technical growth

Stay current with evolving data engineering and cloud best practices, bringing current ideas back to the team Required Skills

Mandatory

Snowflake — hands-on experience building and managing production data warehouse solutions

DBT (Data Build Tool) — data transformation and modeling

Apache Airflow — workflow orchestration and ETL scheduling

Python — scripting and pipeline development

SQL — strong query writing, tuning, and data modeling skills

Preferred

Exposure to cloud platforms hosting Snowflake (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

SnowPro certification (Core or Advanced)

Prior experience mentoring or leading a small engineering team

Nice to Have

Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines

Exposure to data governance or data quality frameworks

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience Required

5+ years of experience in data engineering, with demonstrated depth in Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
