Role Description The Desktop Services Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day desktop support to internal users, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals. The specialist will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, support various operating systems, and ensure systems are secure, updated, and optimized for performance.

They will respond to service requests, manage incident tickets,



document solutions, and collaborate with IT team members to improve support processes. The role also involves assisting with system upgrades, asset management, and user training on basic desktop and application usage.

Qualifications

Strong skills in working with desktop computers, including installation, configuration, and hardware maintenance.

Demonstrated experience in technical support and desk top support, with a focus on end-user assistance and customer service.

Proficiency in troubleshooting, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related desktop issues.

Positive understanding of operating systems (such as Windows, macOS, and basic Linux exposure), including updates, security settings, and user account management.

Relevant experience in an IT support or desktop services role; industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) are an advantage.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple tickets, and work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
