Key Responsibilities:
Hardware Design &
Development:
Design and develop embedded hardware circuits for microcontroller-based systems.
Select appropriate components considering cost, performance, and availability.
PCB Layout &
Design:
Create and review PCB layouts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, OrCAD).
Ensure compliance with design guidelines for signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and thermal management.
Testing &
Validation:
Develop and execute test plans for hardware validation, including functional, environmental, and compliance testing.
Perform debugging and root cause analysis for hardware issues.
Work with ICT/FCT setups and ensure test coverage for PCBA.
Documentation:
Prepare schematics, BOM, test reports, and compliance documentation.
Maintain design files and revision history Git or similar tools.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with firmware, mechanical,
and manufacturing teams for product development.
Support suppliers and EMS partners during prototype and production phases.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
3–4 years of experience in embedded hardware design and PCB layout.
Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD) and schematic capture.
Hands-on experience with hardware testing tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer).
Knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance standards and design practices.
Familiarity with microcontrollers (STM32, PIC, etc.) and power electronics basics.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
