Key Responsibilities:
Review and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for ED facility services.
Ensure coding compliance with federal regulations, payer policies, and industry standards.
Analyze medical records to identify appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes.
Work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to clarify documentation.
Ensure proper charge capture and claim submission for timely reimbursements.
Conduct quality audits to maintain accuracy and minimize claim denials.
Stay updated with coding guidelines, industry changes, and regulatory updates.
Utilize EHR systems and coding software for effective workflow management.

Requirements:
Certification: CPC, CCS, or equivalent (preferred).
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and ED coding guidelines.
Experience with hospital billing processes and payer-specific policies.
Proficiency in EHR systems and coding tools.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a quick-paced setting.
