Astec Valves & Fittings Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate and Diploma Engineers to join our team as trainees. This six-month structured training program is designed to provide hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations, procurement processes, and project execution while developing technical and skilled skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase
Assist in sourcing and procurement activities.
Coordinate with vendors for quotations, deliveries, and documentation.
Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
Monitor inventory levels and support material planning.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
Production
Support daily production planning and execution.
Monitor shop floor activities and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Assist in process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth production flow.
Prepare production reports and maintain documentation.
Projects
Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
Coordinate with internal departments and vendors.
Track project schedules, material availability, and documentation.
Support installation, commissioning, and project reporting activities.
Ensure timely completion of assigned project tasks.
Eligibility
BE/B.Tech (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering)
Diploma in Mechanical or related Engineering
Freshers are encouraged to apply.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
