Role & responsibilities
Lead and support office ergonomics assessment activities across various locations.
Conduct workstation evaluations and identify ergonomic risk factors associated with computer-based work.
Recommend practical and cost-effective ergonomic solutions to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
Provide ergonomic coaching and guidance to employees, supervisors, and management teams.
Support the development and implementation of office ergonomics programs, standards, and best practices.
Analyze ergonomics-related trends, employee concerns, and workplace injury data to identify improvement opportunities.
Prepare detailed assessment reports with transparent findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
Collaborate with Occupational Health, Safety, Human Resources, and business teams to address employee ergonomic concerns.
Assist in evaluating local ergonomic resources, vendors, and solutions when internal resources are unavailable.
Deliver training and awareness sessions on ergonomic principles, workstation setup, and healthy work practices.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
Preferred candidate profile
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in:
Human Factors Engineering
Ergonomics
Occupational Health
Industrial Engineering
Kinesiology
Physical Therapy, or related discipline
Professional Certifications Candidates should possess one or more nationally recognized certifications with significant ergonomic components, such as:
Certified Qualified Ergonomist (CPE)
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Other equivalent ergonomics-related certifications
Experience
4 to 10 years of qualified experience in ergonomics, occupational health, workplace safety, or a related field.
