We are seeking a FinTech Compliance & Product Intern to bridge the gap between complex tax regulations and core software development. Working alongside our founders and senior advisors (CAs & Audit Managers), you will translate statutory provisions, GSTN filing schemas, and compliance timelines into structured database logic, user flows, and product requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Modules You’ll Map

User Onboarding & Amendments: Map Form GST REG-01 registration flows, TRN/verification pathways, the 30-day bank verification hard gate, and REG-14 amendment state machines.

Smart Billing & HSN Engine: Codify invoice numbering rules, master HSN drop-down database ingestion, and zero-rated LUT/SEZ billing logic.

Returns & IMS Integration:



Define GSTR-3B dependency blocks, GSTR-1A amendment workflows, and front-end/backend actions for the Invoice Management System (IMS).

ITC & Reversal Engine: Program Section 16(2) matching, Section 17(5) blocked credit rules (vehicles, CSR, food/beverage), and an automated 180-day supplier payment aging tracker.

RCM, Composition & ISD: Build logic matrices for RCM, composition scheme guardrails (CMP-08), and proportional turnover allocation algorithms for Input Service Distribution (ISD).

E-Way Bill 2.0 & Platform Walkthroughs: Map E-Way Bill 2.0 sandbox APIs and draft step-by-step credentials recovery/DSC registration walkthroughs.

Profile

Domain Knowledge: Solid grasp of Indian GST frameworks, Section 17(5) blocked credits, registration workflows, and GSTR 1/2B/3B structures.

Product Mindset: Ability to convert complex statutory legal text into clean logical flowcharts, rules tables, and functional logic.

Data Competency: Basic knowledge of SQL or Python to collaborate effectively with developers is a plus.
