We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Executive Engineer to join our team as a Buyer-Indirects in the Linde Group. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering and procurement, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Roles and Responsibility
Manage and coordinate indirect purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
Conduct market research and analyze trends to inform purchasing decisions.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators to measure purchasing effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement or buying, preferably in an industrial setting.
Robust knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
