Responsibilities
Carry out fitting, assembly and alignment of structural and mechanical components.
Read and understand engineering drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
Perform marking, cutting, drilling, grinding, and finishing operations.
Assist in fabrication and installation of marine structures, doors, hatches, and assemblies.
Ensure proper alignment and fitment before welding or final assembly.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, etc.).
Support welders and fabrication teams during production activities.
Inspect work for accuracy and report defects or deviations.
Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
Maintain tools and equipment in positive working condition.
Ensure work is completed as per quality standards and timelines.
