Finance Analyst

Primary Job Functions

This section describes the primary /essential responsibilities that this job performs.
Support the preparation and maintenance of budgets and forecasts
Support finance transformation initiatives, process standardization, and continuous improvement projects across multiple geographies and business units.
Perform monthly variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) with explicit, structured explanations
Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management review
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, cost drivers, and performance gaps
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business and operational decisions
Support finance business partners by providing timely, well-structured financial inputs
Support financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across multiple locations, stores, business units, or countries.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting solutions to provide actionable business insights.
Leverage AI, Generative AI, and automation technologies to enhance financial reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and decision support processes.
Utilize SQL, Python, VBA,



and other analytical tools to automate reporting processes, improve data accuracy, and reduce manual effort

Job Qualifications

Education:

• CA / MBA Finance / M.com / B.com degree in business / related field /

equivalent work experience, Required

Experience: • Big four articleship experience will be added advantage
Work experience of using ERP, Financial reporting systems will be added advantage
Experience in Retail FP&A; supporting large-scale multi-location, multi-store, multi-

country, or cross-border business operations, with exposure to global stakeholders and complex organizational structures, will be an added advantage.
Working knowledge of Power BI for dashboard development, business analytics, and visualization will be an added advantage
Experience leveraging Finance AI, Generative AI, Copilot, and intelligent automation tools to improve reporting, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Python, SQL and/or other data analytics tools for finance reporting,

data analytics, workflow automation, and process optimization will be an added advantage
Robust Excel and data-handling skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic financial modelling)
