IBM Power Systems Administrator The role of IBM Power Systems Administrator (AIX/Linux on Power) involves managing and administering IBM Power Systems within a large-scale infrastructure project.

This position requires extensive experience in infrastructure administration, particularly with AIX and Power Systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability and disaster recovery solutions while maintaining effective communication in English.

Immediate availability is preferred for this prospect.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and administer IBM Power Systems (Power8, Power9, Power10).
Oversee AIX 7.x administration and PowerVM, VIOS, HMC, and LPAR management.
Implement PowerHA, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
Administer SAN Storage, Multipathing, and Storage Administration. Utilize NIM, mksysb, and IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM).
Perform scripting with KSH, Shell Scripting, and/or Python.
Conduct patching,



upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Apply ITIL processes, Incident Management, and Change Management.
Communicate effectively in English with team members and stakeholders.

Key Skills:
8+ years of experience in Infrastructure Administration.
Solid hands-on experience with IBM Power Systems.
Extensive experience with AIX 7.x administration.
Expertise in PowerVM, VIOS, HMC, and LPAR management.
Experience with PowerHA, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
Strong knowledge of SAN Storage and Storage Administration. Experience with NIM, mksysb, and IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM).
Scripting experience with KSH, Shell Scripting, and/or Python.
Valuable understanding of ITIL processes.
Excellent communication skills in English.
